Walnut Grove Cemetery
Hancock Street, Bluefield, Mercer County, West Virginia 24701
Walnut Grove Cemetery was begun in the 1860s by a group of early Bluefield families: the Baileys, the Higginbothams, and the Davidsons. It is currently operated by a group of Trustees who are dedicated to its preservation and upkeep.
A historical marker was donated by the Bluefield Historical Society and installed by the City of Bluefield in early 2013. The Trustees and supporters of Walnut Grove are appreciative of this helpful and attractive addition to the cemetery.
