Parents' Children:
Knocked overboard by a swinging boom on his sailboat traveling from Washington D.C. to his home near Fort Washington, Maryland. The tug Mary Lewis saw it happen and threw him a rope, but he was unable to grab it and drown.
Name is not shown on the “new” cemetery plot map, so it is assumed that he was buried in the older cemetery. A letter sent to the church in 1996 alerted us of this burial.
