Headstone Text: No headstone there. Church recently placed a slab there to replace it.
This infant does not have a headstone, but is buried in Row E. It is listed as “Infant Thorne” on the church plot map, which was reserved by Katherine Thorne in July 1941, and the burial paid for by William Thorne. More research will need to be done to know whose child this is.
Although William Jr. and Katherine Thorne are buried to one side of this infant; Katherine would have been 83 in 1951, so it is not their child. William III and Constance Thorne are buried on the other side; Constance would have been 44, making it physically possible but not probable. It is most likely the grandchild of one or both couples.
