During his 1927-1934 career, he also played for several minor league teams: Richmond Colts, Raleigh Capitals, Newark Bears, Asheville Tourists, Macon Peaches, Hartford Senators, Jersey City Skeeters, Baltimore Orioles, and Syracuse Chiefs.
